Nella bellissima cornice dell’hotel Ca’Sagredo (https://www.casagredohotel.com/it/), dal 23 aprile fino al 10 maggio, si terrà la prima mostra culturale di arte moderna per l’anniversario dei 1600 anni di Venezia allestita dall’associazione N.EX.T New Extraordinary Talents (http://www.associazionenext.it/). Tra il piano terra della hall d’ingresso, il salone al primo piano (quattro porte) e la prima stanzetta a sinistra, sono allestite 25 opere di 15 artisti, ognuno dei quali, con un suo stile esprime i suoi sentimenti riguardo a questo anniversario.

Hotel Ca’Sagredo, è sempre stato un punto di riferimento per l’arte, infatti è ormai famoso in tutto il mondo, per aver ospitato la celebre opere delle mani che emergono dall’acqua del celebre artista Lorenzo Quinn.

E’ una mostra molto interessante le cui opere spaziano da sculture a tele dai vivaci colori. Vi propongo in questa sede, alcune opere che hanno destato la mia curiosità, senza nulla togliere alle altre; più che altro, sono tante, e non riesco a descriverle tutte in un solo blog.

L’artista Andrea Pagotto, con la sua opera “fora dae bae” illustra la poppa di una grande nave da crociera che passa per il bacino S Marco. La sua non è un’opera di protesta, egli ha voluto sottolineare, che ai tempi della Serenissima, non c’erano questi episodi, non c’erano grandi navi, ma soprattutto, non c’era la frenesia che ci governa oggi, non c’erano rumori, solo la quiete che regnava nella laguna. Simone De Bertoli nella sua tela multicolore si concentra su quei occhi che sono affascinati dalla magia di Venezia. Immagini che vengano catturate dalle retina, e rimangono impresse per sempre nei ricordi. Jacopo Rumignani con il suo gondoliere, illustra a modo suo la figura che rappresenta Venezia per molti aspetti, il gondoliere e la gondola ovviamente, che sembra quasi librarsi sopra il canale, in una città multicolore, pronta a far salire i suoi ospiti desiderosi di esplorare la città lagunare con un altro punto di vista.

Vanessa Modafferi, ha la sua tela come divisa in due metà, dove illustra la Venezia di una volta e quella di adesso, una città con le calli semi deserte, i suoi cittadini chiusi nelle loro case, per via della pandemia. Una città che resiste, che ha vissuto nel corso della sua storia millenaria, altre epidemie, e che sempre si è rialzata. In un’altra tela multicolore possiamo ammirare il simbolo di Venezia, il Leone di S. Marco con le ali alzate e in posizione protezione della città lagunare. La Venezia di Hemingway sempre di Jacopo Rumignani, vede il volto con toni vivaci del famoso scrittore Hemingway, che era innamorato di questa città con lo sfondo dell’Harry’s Bar. Interessante le opere di Daniele Cellini “El Leon e le cinque code” e quella di Marta Arnoldo “Venezia Madre di Storia”.

Ricordo che la mostra è aperta fino al 10 maggio dalle 10.00 fino alle 20.00 con ingresso libero come già menzionato sopra presso il bellissimo hotel Ca’Sagredo. Consiglio a tutta la cittadinanza e ai visitatori di andare a vederla per cogliere le diverse sfumature di Venezia, attraverso gli occhi di questi giovani artisti, di grande talento, e anche di ammirare questo splendido ambiente che offre un impressionante numero di capolavori artistici.

Interesting Exhibition at Ca’ Sagredo Hotel !

In the beautiful setting of the Ca’Sagredo hotel (https://www.casagredohotel.com), from 23 April until 10 May, the first cultural exhibition of modern art set up by the association N.EX.T New Extraordinary Talents (http://www.associazionenext.it/), will be held, for the 1600th anniversary of Venice . Between the ground floor of the entrance hall, the living room on the first floor (four doors) and the first room on the left, 25 works by 15 artists are exhibited, each of which, with a style of his own, expresses his feelings about this anniversary.

Hotel Ca’Sagredo has always been a reference point for art, in fact it is now famous all over the world, for having hosted the famous works of the hands emerging from the water by the famous artist Lorenzo Quinn.

It is a very interesting exhibition whose works range from sculptures to brightly colored canvases. Here I propose some works that have aroused my curiosity, I offer my apologies if I chose only few of them, but there are so many, that I can not describe them all in one blog.

The artist Andrea Pagotto, with his work “fora dae bae” illustrates the stern of a large cruise ship passing through the S Marco Canal. His is not a work of protest, he wanted to emphasize that at the time of the Serenissima, there were no such episodes, there were no large ships, but above all, there was no frenzy that governs us today, no noises, only the quiet that reigned in the lagoon. Simone De Bertoli in his multicolored canvas focuses on those eyes that are fascinated by the magic of Venice. Images that are captured by the retina, and remain impressed forever in the memories of the people. Jacopo Rumignani with his gondolier, illustrates in his own way the figure that represents Venice, the gondolier and the gondola of course, which almost seems to hover over the canal, in a multicolored city, ready to pick up its guests eager to explore the lagoon city from another point of view.

Vanessa Modafferi, has her canvas divided into two halves, where she illustrates the Venice of the past and that of the present, a city with semi-deserted streets, its citizens closed in their homes, due to the pandemic. A city that resists, a city which has experienced other epidemics throughout its millennium history, and which has always lift up. In another multicolored canvas we can admire the symbol of Venice, the Lion of St. Mark with raised wings in a protecting posture to defend the lagoon city. Hemingway’s Venice, again by Jacopo Rumignani, sees the brightly colored face of the famous writer, who was in love with this city, with the Harry’s Bar in the background.

Interesting, are the works of Daniele Cellini “El Leon and the five tails” and that of Marta Arnoldo “Venice Mother of History”.

I remember that the exhibition is open until 10 May from 10.00 to 20.00 with free admission, as already mentioned above, at the beautiful Ca’Sagredo hotel. I recommend to all citizens and visitors to go and see it, to grasp the different shades of Venice, through the eyes of these young artists, of great talent, and also to admire this splendid environment that offers an impressive number of artistic masterpieces.
