A Ca’Sagredo Hotel, c’è una nuova mostra organizzate dal curatore Vincenzo Sanfo, che si chiama “Friendship Project” che si può ammirare dal 20 maggio al 31 0ttobre 2021 dalle ore 10.00 fino alle 20.00. Una mostra, che non è solo visibile in questa location, ma anche alla biennale di quest’anno. In pratica, chi ha visitato la mostra della biennale e vuole avere una comprensione per intero, deve anche venire a vedere le altre opere a Ca’Sagredo Hotel ! In questo albergo ci sono opere a cura di artisti internazionali, tra cui : Zhang hongmei, Xing Junqin, Xu De Qui, Wu Wei, e Marco Nereo Rotelli.

Le tre opere che troviamo nel salone d’ingresso, sono state realizzate dall’artista Zhang Hongmei e si intitola “Colours  and Xi’An Warriors“. Questo progetto realizzato per l’università di Torino, è una specie di riflessione sulla teoria che il colore nella nostra vita quotidiana, può cambiare la percezione degli spazi e dei luoghi. La testa sul piedestallo, ricorda l’esercito di terracotta,  un insieme di statue situato nel mausoleo del primo imperatore Qin a Xi’an, nelle vicinanze della città di Xi’an. E’ un esercito di terracotta che rappresenta l’armata, destinata a servire il primo imperatore cinese Qin Shi Huang (260 a.C.-210 a.C.) nell’Aldilà.

Al piano superiore, nel salone centrale possiamo ammirare una moltitudine di opere:

Moltissime sono le opere da parte dell’artista Marco Nereo Rotelli, come add esempio le tre opere realizzate su marmo bianco altissimo intitolate “Finestre del linguaggio” o le due opere “Parole di marmo” realizzate con marmo di carrara, e poi ci sono anche le “Porte d’oro” realizzate a foglia d’oro. Su ciascuna porta delle lettere di alfabeti di tutto il mondo, e versi di poeti contemporanei. 

Fuori della terrazza, ci sono due state di esseri alieni, o meglio di due creature aquatiche, se si guardano i loro piedi, si ha la sensazione che siano creature del mondo sommerso degli abissi. Molto suggestive, sembrano voler osservare quello che succede all’esterno del hotel, le varie barche che attraversano di continuo il canale.

Nella prima sala a sinistra, del salone centrale ci sono altre opere, ma ce ne sono tre, ad opera dell’artist a Xu De Qi, che mi sono piaciute molto: “Aquarium girl” e “Beauty and the beast“

 

 

 

 

 

Le due immagini ai lati, sembra voler cambiare la prospettiva, sono i pesci nella boccia di vetro, o una ragazza che ci osserva dal di dentro ? E al centro, vediamo una bellissima ragazza con al guinzaglio una tigre. Non posso non pensare ad un personaggio molto intrigante: la Contessa Luisa Casati che andava in giro per Piazza S Marco con un ghepardo tenuto al guinzaglio. Per me questa è l’opera forse più bella della mostra.

In sintesi, una splendida mostra, molto interessante, che consiglio a tutti di andare a vedere, che siate stati alla biennale oppure no, sono sicuro che vi piacerà tantissimo quanto è piaciuta a me !

 

Friendship Project at Ca’Sagredo Hotel

 

 

 

 

At Ca’Sagredo Hotel, there is a new exhibition organized by the curator Vincenzo Sanfo, called the “Friendship Project” which can be admired from May 20th to October 31st 2021 from 10.00 to 20.00. An exhibition, which is not only visible in this location, but also at this year’s biennial. If anyone who has visited the Biennale exhibition, and wants to have a full understanding, they must also come and see the other works at Ca’Sagredo Hotel! In this hotel there are works by international artists, including: Zhang hongmei, Xing Junqin, Xu De Qui, Wu Wei, and Marco Nereo Rotelli.

Upstairs, in the central hall we can admire a multitude of works:

 

There are many works by the artist Marco Nereo Rotelli, such as the three works made on very high white marble entitled “Windows of language” or the two works “Words of marble” made with Carrara marble, and then there are also the “Golden Doors” made with gold leaf. On each door there are letters from alphabets from all over the world, and verses from contemporary poets.

 

 

 

 

 

Outside the terrace, there are two states of alien beings, or rather of two aquatic creatures, if you look at their feet, you get the feeling that they are creatures of the underwater world of the abyss. Very suggestive, they seem to want to observe what happens outside the hotel, the various boats that continuously cross the canal.

In the first room on the left, of the central hall there are other works, but there are three, by the artist Xu De Qi, which I liked very much: “Aquarium girl” and “Beauty and the beast”

 

 

 

 

 

The two images on the sides, it seems to want to change the perspective, are they the fish in the glass bowl, or a girl watching us from within? And in the center, we see a beautiful girl with a tiger on a leash. I can’t help but think of a very intriguing character: the Countess Luisa Casati who went around Piazza S Marco with a cheetah kept on a leash. For me this is perhaps the most beautiful work of the exhibition.

In summary, a splendid exhibition, very interesting, that I recommend everyone to go and see, whether you have been to the biennale or not, I’m sure you will love it as much as I liked it!
