Di recente sono andato a vedere una mostra presso il municipio di Roncade, molto interessante ad opera dell’artista Antonio Massari. L’artista è nato a Padova il 22 dicembre 1954, dopo una carriera nel settore turistico, una volta in pensione, ha scoperto la sua vena artistica, che dopo tanti anni di esperimenti, ha finalmente prodotto dei risultati. Lui stesso si considera un autodidatta, non ha un proprio stile, o segue quello di altri pittori, ma nei suoi quadri, mette le proprie emozioni.
Il suo stile molto particolare, ha cominciato a muovere i primi passi, e non è passato molto tempo che è stato notato, e ha potuto mostrare agli occhi del pubblico le sue opere. Ha partecipato ad esposizioni collettive e personali a Treviso, al Museo Ca Robegan, a Palazzo dei Trecento Onigo Pederobba, a Roncade, a, Mogliano, a Monastier, a Auronzo, nel Ghetto di Venezia e nell’isola di Burano.
Al momento attuale, le sue opere, sono esposte presso il municipio di Roncade fino al 6 dicembre, con la speranza che venga prorogata. consiglio a tutti i cittadini di Roncade e dei dintorni di andare a vederla, ai turisti che possano essere in vacanza da quelle parti, prima che finisca !
A very interesting exhibition at Roncade
I recently went to see a very interesting exhibition at the Roncade town hall by the artist Antonio Massari. The artist was born in Padua on 22 December 1954 , after a career in the tourism sector, once retired, he discovered his artistic streak, which after many years of experiments, has finally produced results. He himself considers self-taught, he does not have his own style, or follows that of other painters, but in his paintings, he puts his own emotions.
His very particular style has began to take his first steps, and it wasn’t long before he was noticed, and he was able to show to the eyes of the public his works. He has participated in collective and personal exhibitions in Treviso, at the Ca Robegan Museum, at Palazzo dei Trecento Onigo Pederobba, in Roncade, in Mogliano, in Monastier, in Auronzo, in the Ghetto of Venice and on the island of Burano.
At the moment, his works are exhibited at the Roncade town hall until December 6th, with the hope that it will be extended. I advise all the citizens of Roncade and the surrounding area to go and see it, and to the tourists as well, who may be on holiday over there, before it ends!

E’ finita ieri sera, l’edizione del 2020 della mostra “Premio Pittura Mestre. Nella serata di Venerdì 2 ottobre, al teatro Toniolo sono stati proclamati i vincitori: il primo premio è stato assegnato Giuseppe Sciortino con il quadro “GiorgiaPia e Francesca”, e quindi verrà esposto nel Museo di Arte moderna di Ca’ Pesaro di Venezia. Il secondo premio è andato a Gabriele Grones con il trittico “Frammento, e il terzo classificato è stato Tamara Zambon con “Are you ready for the revolution, child?”.
Sono stati assegnati altri premi, citiamo ad esempio il Premio speciale Città di Mestre a Giampaolo Callegaro con il quadro “Una sera a Punta San Giuliano“. E delle menzioni speciali della giuria per gli artisti : Fabbrizio Vatta con il quadro “I love my husband” a Raffaele Bovo per il quadro “Pietre D’Istria Antropomorfe” e a Marco Marcarelli. “Viaggi 220820. Il premio Giuria Popolare per Francisco Rojas Miramontes. “The swimmer” e a Marco Tidu. “Crisalide“. Premio Targa Amici delle arti di Mestre per Morena Marini. “Pensieri interrotti” e per Andrea Santi. “Marco durante la quarantena“.
Lavorare li, è stata un’esperienza alquanto interessante ! A differenza di altre mostre a cui ho partecipato, ho notato delle differenze: tutti i visitatori erano molto interessati, si soffermavano molto sui quadri e soprattutto, si scambiavano commenti tra di loro. Molte volte sono testimone di visitatori che leggono le guide, le didascalie, guardano un’attimo i quadri e poi proseguono nelle altre sale. Non è stato questo il caso. E’ stato molto interessante ascoltare quello che si dicevano.
Mi sono chiesto come mai ci fossero queste differenze, probabilmente il grande interesse nasce dal fatto che tutti potevano votare il quadro preferito: bastava andare online e indicare l’autore e il nome del quadro. Questa mostra ha coinvolto l’intera pubblico di Mestre, come mai ho visto prima, e se non fosse stato per il covid, l’ammontare dei visitatori sarebbe stato molto più alto. Speriamo che nella prossima edizione, si possa tornare alla normalità.
A different exhibition in Mestre
On the evening of Friday 2 October, the winners of the 2020 edition of the exhibition “Mestre Painting Award, were announced at the Toniolo theater, and now it’s over. Working there, was really a very interesting experience! Unlike other exhibitions in which I have worked, I noticed some differences: all the visitors were very interested, they dwelt a lot on the paintings and above all, they exchanged comments among themselves. Many times I witness visitors who read the guides, the captions, look at the paintings for a moment and then go on to the other rooms. This was not the case. It was very interesting to hear what they were saying.
I wondered why there were these differences, probably the great interest arises from the fact that everyone could vote for their favorite painting: it was really simple, just going online to choose the author and the name of the painting. This exhibition involved the entire people of Mestre, as I have never seen before, and if it had not been for the covid, the amount of visitors would have been much higher. We hope that in the next edition, we can return to normal.

Presso il Palazzo Candiani di Mestre, dal 4 settembre fino al 4 ottobre sarà ospitata la mostra “Premio Mestre Pittura 2020”. Quest’anno, nelle sale espositive, saranno appese le opere di 54 finalisti, ovvero quelli che hanno superato le selezioni, e sono approdati in finale.
Anche quest’anno non sarà facile capire chi vincerà, in quanto ci sono tantissime opere molto belle, io stesso non saprei quali tra tutte scegliere. In questa mia recensione, parlerò solo di alcuni, scelti a caso, non è possibile purtroppo descriverli tutti, altrimenti la lettura di quest’articolo si protrerrebbe troppo a lungo.

Il quadro di Alessio Pistilli, mi ha colpito per i dettagli che si possono intravedere solo se si guarda da vicino. Ad esempio se date uno sguardo agli occhi, si può intravedere una leggera sfumatura di rosso tipica dell’occhio. Inoltre trovo che il costume indossata dalla dama, sia veritiero con quello che una volta si indossava. Il quadro al centro di Paolo di Rosa, penso sia stato fatto in occasione dell’anniversario della sua morte avvenuta il 14 settembre 1321. Il dipinto è affascinante, in quanto sembra che le lettere che cadono dal cielo, siano quelle a lui necessarie per le sue creazioni letterarie. La nuvola di colore bianco non sembra minacciosa, non è scura come presagio di tempesta, anche se sembra di vedere dei fulmini, forse la nuvola sta a rappresentare un’ispirazione divina ? Il terzo dipinto di Eugenio Cazzuoli, devo dire che è stupefacente, anzi direi che sembra quasi vero ! Con quella cornice, sembra proprio che al muro sia appeso un vero distributore di bevande e dolciumi. Viene quasi voglia di inserire le monete per approfittarne !
Raniero Menin – Dall’uomo prodotto al prodotto uomo
Un quadro molto interessante, che vedono delle persone di sesso maschile, di diverse etnie, che, tutti tranne uno hanno tatuato dietro al collo, un codice a barre. Qui i significati sono molteplici, a seconda di come lo vede il visitatore: Possiamo dire che ormai siamo diventati tutti dei prodotti, come quelli che si vendono nei negozi, che hanno tutti dei codici a barre per essere riconosciuti, oppure l’artista vuole farci intravedere un futuro fantascientifico dove tutti quanti avremo sul serio il codice a barre ? Non è notizia nuova quella in cui si sentono di alcune persone che si sono fatte impiantare sotto la cute un microchip. Di certo i teenager avranno una risposta diversa, a loro magari ricorderà un personaggio dei videogames: Hitman agente 47, dove anche lui aveva tatuato un codice a barre nello stesso posto.

Claudio Pompeo – Lockdown
Il quadro di Claudio Pompeo intitolato “lockdown”, dice tutto. Una strada completamente deserta di auto, esattamente com’era nella realtà poco tempo fa, dove le auto che passavano erano veramente poche.
Wally Pavan – Geografia intimistica
Il quadro di Wally Pavan sembra quasi che sia stato dipinto da una postazione geostazionaria, in orbita sulla Terra; sembra molto simile alle foto scattate per le previsioni meteo. Insomma, devo dire, che sono molto soddisfatto delle opere presenti in questa mostra. Ricordo ancora, che in questo articolo, non mi è stato possibile parlare di tutti quanti i quadri, ne ho scelti alcuni, ma invito tutti quanti ad andare a vedere la mostra, perché veramente merita.
New exhibition at Candiani Palace in Mestre !
The exhibition “Premio Mestre Painting 2020” will be hosted at Palazzo Candiani in Mestre from 4 September to 4 October. This year, in the exhibition halls, the works of 54 finalists will be hung on the walls, i.e. those who passed the selections, and made it to the final.
This year, it will not be easy to understand who will win, as there are so many very beautiful works, I myself would not know which one to choose. Alessio Pistilli’s painting struck me for the details that can only be glimpsed if you look closely. For example, if you take a look at the eyes, you can see a slight shade of red typical of the eye. I also find that the costume worn by the lady is true to what was once worn. The painting in the middle by Paolo di Rosa, I think was done on the occasion of the anniversary of his death on 14 September 1321. The painting is fascinating, as it seems that the letters falling from the sky are those necessary for him to his literary creations. The white cloud does not seem threatening, it is not dark as an omen of a storm, even if we seems to see lightning, perhaps the cloud represents a divine inspiration? God ? The third painting by Eugenio Cazzuoli, I must say it’s amazing indeed ! I would say that it seems almost real! With that frame, it looks like a real drink and candy dispenser hangs on the wall. You almost want to insert the coins to eat or drink something!

A very interesting painting, we see some male people, of different ethnic groups, who, all but one have a bar-code tattooed behind their neck. Here the meanings are many, depending from the visitor’s point of view: We can say that in some near future we all become products, like those sold in supermarkets. Or the artist wants to make us glimpse a sci-fi future where we will all seriously have the bar code? It is not new the fact, that some people has a microchip implanted under the skin. Of course, teenagers will have a different answer, maybe it will remind them of a video game character: Hitman agent 47, where he too had a bar code tattooed in the same place.

Claudio Pompeo – Lockdown
Claudio Pompeo’s painting entitled “lockdown” says it all. A road completely empty of cars, exactly as it was in reality a short time ago, where the cars passing were very few.
Wally Pavan – Geografia intimistica
Wally Pavan’s painting seems almost to have been painted from a geostationary position, in orbit on the Earth; looks very similar to the photos taken for the weather forecast. In short, I must say that I am very satisfied with the works in this exhibition. I still remind you, that in this article, it was not possible for me to describe all the paintings, I chose some, but I invite everyone to go and see the exhibition, because it really worthy.
